Police warn residents of burglaries in Lincoln Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are warning residents of the city's Lincoln Park neighborhood about a series of residential burglaries.

Police say the incidents were reported on Jan. 14 around 2:50 p.m. in the 1000-block of W. Altgeld and Jan. 22 around 3:45 p.m. in the 3000-block of N. Greenview. In both incidents, the three offenders allegedly forcibly entered the residences via rear doors, police said.
