'Watch llama' scares coyotes, thieves away from rancher's cattle

A rancher in Missouri took a unique approach to protect his cattle - instead of a watch dog, he got a watch llama.

Sam Hayes said that Tony the llama scares away coyotes that might attack the calves. Tony also keeps away people who might try to steal cattle.

Hayes said Tony can be very territorial, but he hasn't lost any of his herd since Tony took up the watch.
