CHICAGO (WLS) -- A new move in the fight over the Lucas Museum.
Gino Generelli delivered a petition with 2,500 signatures to Friends of the Parks.
The petition asks the group to stop its lawsuit, which would block the museum from being built on Chicago's lakefront.
Friends of the Parks argues the plans violate laws restricting development along Lake Michigan.
The museum's supporters say the attraction would bring more business to the city.
