2 kids run from alleged attempted luring in Irving Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two children say two men tried to lure them into their car as they were walking home from school in the city's North Side.

The 10-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl say the two men started talking to them and offered them candy.

Police say the incident happened Tuesday on the 3900-block of North Spaulding Avenue in the city's Irving Park neighborhood.

The kids ran home and the men drove off.
