Man tried to lure 13-year-old girl in Westmont, police say

WESTMONT, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are warning about an attempted child luring in Westmont.

Police say a 13-year old girl was walking home Tuesday afternoon in the area of 55th and Wilmette when a man driving a beige four-door car pulled up next to her and asked if she wanted to get a cup of coffee.

The girl said no and ran home.
