Water dept. employee shot in Little Village

CHICAGO -- A 40-year-old water department employee was shot in the chest and hand near 31st and Komensky around 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
He was taken to the hospital, where he is considered "stable," officials said.
No one is in custody.
