Man tried to force woman into SUV near Midway, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are looking for a man who tried to force a woman into his vehicle on the city's Southwest Side Thursday morning.

Investigators say a man drove up to a 35-year-old woman in the 5000-block of S. Kostner, grabbed her and tried to sexually assault her.

She fought him off and was able to run away, police said.

Police said the man was driving a blue SUV. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt and no pants.
