'Marvel Universe' holds Chicago auditions

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Marvel needs more super heroes, and some Chicagoans are answering the call.

Martial artists, gymnasts, acrobats and others filled a North Side gym Saturday to audition for "Marvel Universe," a touring live action arena stunt show.

The performers got one minute each to showcase their most exceptional tricks and skills. They also had to learn a stage combat routine.

Those who passed the test could soon be saving the world at an arena near you.
