Melinda Rozell charged with making, distributing heroin in Darien

DARIEN, Ill. (WLS) -- Melinda Rozell, 43, has been charged in connection with heroin distribution in west suburban Darien, police said.

Rozell, of Darien, was charged with three counts of manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance, officials said. The arrest comes after an investigation into heroin distribution in Downers Grove and Darien that began in May, officials said.

Rozell is being held in DuPage County Jail on $200,000 bond.
