Metra offers unlimited 4-day pass during Lollapalooza

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Metra will be offering an unlimited ride, four-day train pass during this year's Lollapalooza music festival.

The $20 pass will be available starting July 6th at all Metra station ticket windows and through the Ventra app, according to a press release on Wednesday.

"This is the third year we've worked with Lollapalooza to promote Metra as the best way to get to and from the festival," said Metra Executive Director/CEO Don Orseno. "Metra ticket sales continue to increase since we started offering the unlimited ride pass, with nearly 17,000 tickets sold in 2014 and more than 25,000 in 2015. This is a great partnership and we thank C3 for their support and collaboration."

In addition to the four-day train pass, Metra announced a contest to win two four-day tickets to the festival for those who were unable to get tickets to the sold-out event.

Starting Wednesday, Metra will also be conducting a drawing on social media for a one-day ticket to the festival for Saturday, July 31.
