Metra MD-N trains delayed after freight train hits vehicle near Northbrook

NORTHBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- Trains on Metra's Milwaukee-District North Line are delayed after an unoccupied vehicle was struck by a freight train near Lake Cook Road in Northbrook, Metra officials said.

Metra says inbound and outbound trains are moving with 20-55 minute delays Tuesday night.
