Michigan Weather: Numerous tornadoes hit SW Michigan

Several tornadoes were spotted Saturday afternoon in southwestern Michigan.

Between roughly noon and 3 p.m. CST, the system moved through the greater Grand Rapids area, hitting the counties of Allegan, Van Buren, Ottawa, Kent and Ionia.

Travelers at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids took shelter during the storm, making for some scary moments.

No reports of serious injuries.
