CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are asking for the public's help to find a 14-year-old girl who has been missing from Chicago's Noble Square neighborhood for one week.
Makayla Bennett was last seen on April 27, police said. She had been staying at the "Night Ministry," located in the 1100-block of North Noble Street. Night Ministry provides support for homeless youth.
Police said the teen often visits Chicago's Lawndale and Garfield Park neighborhoods, as well as the area near Washington Street between Western and Ashland avenues.
Bennett is an African American girl with brown eyes, black hair and a medium complexion. She is about 5 ft. 3 in. tall and weighs around 110 lbs.
