CHICAGO (WLS) -- Family members hope a $7,000 reward will help police find a medical student who has been missing from Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood for two weeks.

"My heart is obviously broken, because I don't know where my sibling is. He clearly disappeared into thin air," Monye's sister aid.

Ambrose Monye's siblings are desperate for any information.

Monye, 28, was last seen on April 22, walking toward the university's John Crerar medical library in the 5700-block of South Ellis Avenue.

He is a University of Guadalajara student, in Chicago for a two-year clinical rotation at Jackson Park Hospital. He is expected to graduate in a few weeks.

Monye is described as a 5'10", 180-pound black man with black hair, brown eyes and medium complexion, police said.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should call Special Victims Unit detectives at (312) 747-8380.
