Diem Brown, star of MTV's "Real World/Road Rules Challenge," died at 32 from cancer, People magazine reports.

Brown was first diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2006 and then again in 2012. "My doctors said there was no way it would come back," she told US Weekly in 2012. "I got a call from the same doctor I had six years ago and he said those same words, they're just as devastating: 'Sorry to tell you, but you have cancer.'"

Brown defeated her cancer in 2013, but she was diagnosed with colon cancer in August. Brown started a website called MedGift for people who were battling similar health issues, and she would regularly blog about her battle with cancer for People.com.

Brown competed on MTV's "The Duel" and "The Gauntlet," and remained in touch with many of her MTV castmates while undergoing treatment, according to People magazine.
