CHICAGO (WLS) -- You've heard of the Fiesta, Cotton and Rose bowls, but the big game Thursday night at Soldier Field was the 66th annual Mum Bowl.
The name stems from the tradition in which players give their mom a flower before the kickoff. Then it's time for the championship game.
The players are part of the Chicago Park District Junior Bear program. It gives 850 children the chance to play football at 20 sites across the city.
