Muslims mark Eid al-Adha holiday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Muslims in Chicago are joining the faithful around the world in marking Eid al-Adha.

Some took part in prayers at the downtown Islamic Center on State Street.

The three-day holiday commemorates the willingness of the Prophet Ibrahim, or Abraham as he is known in the bible to sacrifice his son in accordance to God's will.
