Mayor Pradel says serving Naperville for 20 years has been a 'privilege'

NAPERVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- Naperville Mayor George Pradel said in his last State of the City address that he has been blessed to serve west suburb for the last 20 years.

During the annual luncheon on Monday, Pradel was dressed in his usual black tie attire - complete with a silk top hat.

"Thank you for the privilege of being your mayor since 1995. You allowed my way of teamwork, cooperation and partnership to become our way, the Naperville way," Pradel said. "God bless you all, God bless Naperville, and God bless the USA!"

Pradel's wife, Pat, introduced him at the luncheon. They have been married for 56 years.
