KANSAS CITY, MO -- The babies at the neonatal intensive care unit at St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri, prove you're never too young to go trick-or-treating.
A caring effort from the nurses and volunteers with The March of Dimes outfitted the babies in adorable handmade felt costumes for the holiday, ABC News reports.
Check out the photo gallery above of the babies dressed as Captain America, a butterfly, a Kansas City Royals player and more.
In addition to the costumes, the babies received crocheted, candy-filled pumpkins to get them in on the trick-or-treating fun.
The families also received a "trick or treat, smell my feet" card with the newborns' tiny footprints and a Halloween book.
ABC News reports the positive response has prompted plans to celebrate the 12 Days of Christmas in the NICU.
