HOUSTON -- Aaron Perez has already overcome a lot in life for a 6-year-old
"I took him home at four-and-a-half pounds, so he was tiny, on oxygen," said Nereyda Sanchez-Perez, Aaron's mother.
His mom later learned that Aaron learned he had cerebral palsy. He has had to receive speech treatments and needs braces to help him walk, but this fighter has a passion for life -- and monster trucks.
"He just loves it. He eats, breathes and sleeps monster jam," said Sanchez-Perez.
He's a regular at Monster Jam. He's even met a few of the stars behind the wheel. His mom wanted him to meet another one, known for designing trucks: Scott Stephens of Texas Truck Works.
So she emailed him.
"I wanted to see if he could meet at Monster Jam," said Sanchez-Perez.
Stephens was so touched by the letter, not only did he agree to meet Aaron at Monster Jam for the big show in January, he also designed a special Monster Jam truck just for Aaron to have in time for the show.
"Dreams do come true. Thanks to Mr. Scott. I mean, I'm speechless," Sanchez-Perez beamed.
