3 injured in downtown cab crash

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people were seriously injured Saturday night when their cab crashed into two other vehicles and rolled over, police said.

The people were leaving the city's fireworks show when the cab collided with a Cadillac and a pick-up truck near Madison and Wacker in the Loop at about 11 p.m., officials said.

The people were pinned in the cab. They were taken to hospitals in serious to critical condition.

Eight other people refused medical treatment at the scene, police said.
