2 dead after shooting in Elgin

ELGIN, Ill. (WLS) -- Two people are dead after a shooting in Elgin Sunday.

According to officials, the victims were shot at approximately 2 p.m. in the 0-to-100 block of Longwood Place.

No word has been released about the circumstances leading up to the shooting.

Two persons of interest were with investigators Sunday night, officials said.
