Boy robbed at gunpoint near Chatham school, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Parents are being warned after police say a seventh grader was robbed at gunpoint near his South Side school.

The holdup happened in the 8200-block of South Rhodes Monday morning, police said. That's one block from Dixon Elementary in the city's Chatham neighborhood.

The boy was not hurt in the incident. Police say no arrests have been made.
