Father, son charged in Bolingbrook luring attempt

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (WLS) -- A Bolingbrook father and son face several charges after they allegedly tried to lure a girl into their van and then tried to run over someone who came to her aid.

Paul Williams, 43, and 18-year-old Paul Williams Jr. were arrested after the incident Saturday night.

Police say they made sexual comments to a 15-year-old girl and tried to get her to come into their van. She ran for help and two adults came to her aid.

Police say the older Williams then accelerated and tried to hit the adults with the van. No one was hurt.
