Lansing violent kidnapping suspect arrested in Mich.

LANSING, Ill. (WLS) -- A man police say violently kidnapped a woman from her south suburban home has been arrested without incident, the FBI announced Sunday night.

The suspect was taken into custody in Holland, Mich., where authorities found his alleged getaway car.

Investigators say he violently attacked a 53-year-old woman and then kidnapped her. She was later found in Burns Harbor, Indiana.

The suspect is currently being held in Michigan jail on local charges, with federal charges pending.
