Michael Vucic enters Lake County Jail facing sexual assault charges

WAUKEGAN, Ill. (WLS) -- A former northwest suburban teacher charged with sexual abuse and extradited from Bosnia arrived at Lake County Jail Saturday.

Michael Vucic is accused of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13 several times in 2012.

Bond was set at $10 million.

He was recently employed by the Gavin School District in Ingleside.

Authorities in Bosnia captured him back in September. He was brought back last month, escorted by U.S. Marshals.
