South Loop bank robber nabbed after brief pursuit

A man who allegedly robbed a South Loop bank Wednesday afternoon was arrested about 30 minutes later in the Loop, police said.

CTA train service was briefly suspended near Upper Wacker Drive and East Lake Street at about 5 p.m. as police tracked the suspect nearby.

The man robbed a bank in the 1200-block of South Wabash Avenue at about 4:30 p.m.
