'North Center Bandit' strikes bank again, FBI says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- FBI officials say a suspect they call the "North Center Bandit" has allegedly robbed another bank in the area.



The suspect allegedly robbed a Chase Bank branch located at 3335 N. Ashland around 4:09 p.m. Tuesday after making a threatening demand for money, police said.



No injuries reported.



The suspect is wanted in connection with a series of robberies in the area, including one at the same Chase Bank branch on Aug. 27 around 4:02 p.m. Robberies were also reported at two other locations:



  • Chase Bank, 3339 N. Belmont, around 4:06 p.m. on Sept. 25

  • PNC Bank, 4201 N. Lincoln, around 2:24 p.m. on Aug. 21


The suspect is described as a white male between 6-feet and 6-feet-2 weighing between 180-210 pounds, FBI officials said.
