CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people have been charged with stealing firearms during a home invasion in the city's North Center neighborhood, police said.

Gary Wallace, 21 and Melvin Wilson, 20, allegedly knocked on the door and forced themselves into an apartment in the 1800-block of W. Belmont Tuesday, police said. The two were allegedly armed with a weapon and announced a robbery, grabbing firearms, cell phones, electronics and cash, officials said. The two men then allegedly fled the scene.

Police received reports of Wilson at the CTA Montrose station, and upon seeing police, he allegedly fled but was soon taken into custody, officials said. Wallace was taken into custody shortly after.

Wolowic, 20, was arrested for her alleged involvement in planning the robbery, police said.

No injuries were reported and all three are scheduled to appear in bond court Thursday.
