FBI searching for woman wanted in 6 bank robberies

OAK LAWN, Ill. (WLS) -- The FBI is searching for a woman suspected of robbing at least six banks in three states.

Investigators released a surveillance photo from the most recent robbery at the TCF Bank in southwest suburban Oak Lawn on Wednesday.

The same woman is suspected of robbing at least four other banks in northwest Indiana and one in Ohio.

The FBI said she's also suspected in two botched robbery attempts in Indiana.
