Police search for suspect in Oak Lawn TCF Bank robbery

OAK LAWN, Ill. (WLS) -- Police are searching for a suspect in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in suburban Oak Lawn, officials said.

The TCF Bank inside the Jewel-Osco store in the 9400-block of S. Pulaski was robbed around 3 p.m. Friday, police said. It was unclear if the alleged suspect had or implied that he had a weapon, though no one was injured, police said.

The suspect is described as an African-American male wearing a dark jacket, black knit cap and dark sunglasses.

Police have not released any other details.
