Online lottery tickets to continue in Illinois

For those who buy Illinois lottery tickets online or through a mobile app, they are in luck.

The lottery's internet pilot program was supposed to end on Friday, however, lawmakers did not vote on an extension before going on break earlier this month.

Despite that, the lottery said online sales will continue.

Online sales have generated more than $17 million.
