Paraglider survives 150-foot fall in Jupiter, Florida

JUPITER, Fla. (WLS) -- A man was injured after falling 150 feet out of a paraglider along a beach in Jupiter, Fla., Monday.

The Palm Beach Post reports the paraglider has been identified as Damien LeRoy, according to employees who work with him at the Jupiter Kiteshop.

The Jupiter Police Department said he was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment. No information was available on his condition.

Investigators are working to determine the cause of the crash.
