CHICAGO (WLS) -- A driver is in serious condition after crashing into several vehicles in the Roseland neighborhood early Monday morning.
A 31-year-old man was driving southbound about 2:45 a.m. in the 9900-block of S. State Street when his vehicle crashed into a parked car, causing a chain-reaction that damaged a total of four vehicles, police said.

State Street was temporarily closed while crews cleaned up the crash.
The driver was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in serious condition, police said.
It was unclear Monday morning if drugs, alcohol played a factor or if any citations would be issued.
