'Angels with Tails' displayed to Gold Coast shoppers

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The animal shelter came to shoppers Sunday along Chicago's Gold Coast when PAWS held its 17th annual 'Angels with Tails' event.

More than 200 dogs and cats greeted shoppers along Michigan Avenue, Oak Street and Delaware Place. All are eager to find a home.

Each year, PAWS works with nearly 20 shelter and rescue groups on this event to raise awareness of the number of animals who need a forever family.
