SUV hits Chicago police car in Humboldt Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An SUV struck a Chicago police car in the city's Humboldt Park neighborhood.

Police said officers were sitting in a parked, unmarked squad car in the 800-block of North Hamlin Avenue around 11 p.m. Sunday when a northbound SUV crossed a median and struck their vehicle.

No one was hurt. Charges are pending against the driver of the SUV.
