4 arrested after police-involved shooting in Aurora

AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- A police officer was involved in a shooting in west suburban Aurora, officials said.

Investigators say they saw two men with guns walking in between houses on Pearl Street and Parker Avenue Saturday evening. When officers approached, they say the men allegedly pointed their guns at them.

The gunmen ran after one of the officers fired, police say. After a chase, both men were arrested.

Police also took two other people, who were with the gunmen, into custody.

No one was injured in the gunfire. Police are continuing to investigate.
