Former President Barack Obama surprises young students, reads to them at West Woodlawn library

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A special guest made a surprise visit to some young Chicago students on Tuesday.

Former President Barack Obama read to children at the Bessie Coleman Library Branch.

He also talked to them about what they want to be when they grow up.

After that, all 27 students got a free book, a winter hat and gloves to take home.
