CHICAGO (WLS) -- The owner of a robot delivery service is trying to turn a shattering experience into a good laugh.
Video from last month shows one of those machines from Serve Robotics smashing through a bus shelter near the corner of Racine and Grand in West Town.
There have been reports of a couple of these kinds of incidents happening across the city.
Now, a new ad from Serve is on the repaired bus stop and says: "I took breaking into this market a little too literally... Nasir is sorry."

The company says it paid for the bus shelter repair and is working on keeping things like this from happening again.
The ad implies that the name of the robot is "Nasir."
