More than $100K in Pokemon, football cards stolen from NW Side store, owner says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- More than $100,000 in Pokemon Cards and collectible football cards were stolen by burglars on the Northwest Side, the owner said.

The incident occurred at about 1:54 a.m. at Elite Sports Cars and Comics at 3406 N. Harlem Ave.

Police said two suspects broke the front windows and stole merchandise before fleeing in an unknown vehicle.

The owner of the store said the thieves stole more than $100,000 in cards.

The owner said this is the second time his stores have been hit.

Area Five detectives are investigating.
