CPD squad car damaged in rollover crash on South Side, video shows

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago police squad car was damaged Tuesday in a rollover crash on Chicago's South Side, video showed.

Chopper 7 was over the scene near 87th Street and the Dan Ryan Expressway just after noon in Chatham.

A car was rolled over on the median and a CPD squad car had crashed into the median. The squad car's front end was damaged, and its airbags appeared to be deployed.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was injured in the crash.
