14-year-old boy shot near hotel in the Loop, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A teen was shot near a downtown Chicago hotel early Sunday.

Chicago police could be seen investigating the shooting at the Royal Sonesta Chicago Downtown hotel on East Wacker Drive in the Loop.

A 14-year-old boy was shot at the location, Chicago police said.

Police say the teen was shot in the leg. He was taken to the hospital and was expected to be okay.

Chicago police officials said the victim was not cooperating with the investigation.
