Person shot, injured near CTA Red Line station in Rogers Park, Chicago fire officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A person was shot and injured Thursday near a CTA Red Line station on the city's North Side, Chicago fire officials said.

The shooting investigation appeared to be near the Howard CTA Red Line station in Rogers Park.

A CFD spokesperson told ABC7 a person was shot at the location and was taken to a hospital in fair to serious condition.

ABC7 has reached out to Chicago police for more information.
