CHICAGO (WLS) -- Multiple people were hurt in a shooting in West Garfield Park on Sunday, Chicago police said.
Video showed tons of young people hanging out near the scenes.
CPD said at least four people were rushed here to Mt. Sinai hospital, their conditions range from serious to good condition.
At about 1:47 a.m., police responded to the call of shots fired in the 4500-block of W. Wilcox Avenue.
A 16-year-old boy was shot multiple times and is in serious condition. A 28-year-old man was shot in the neck and head. He was also listed in serious condition. A 15-year-old boy was taken to Stroger Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. Police said he was expected to be okay. Another 28-year-old man victim sustained one graze wound to the leg and was transported to Mt. Sinai in good condition.
The video from the scene shows trash all over the ground in the aftermath of what looks like some sort of party, with evidence markers on the ground as police search the area for more evidence.
It's still unclear what led to the shooting.
Also early Sunday, there were 3 separate shootings in the nearby South Austin neighborhood, including a mass shooting that left a woman dead, CPD said.
Alderman Jason Ervin issued a statement on the shootings in his 28th Ward, saying in part "My heart goes out to the families of the victims and to all those whose lives have been changed by this senseless violence. I am calling on our community leaders, our public safety partners, and concerned citizens to work together to bring the perpetrators of these shootings to justice and to begin the work of healing our community."
Nobody is in custody for the shootings as police investigate.
