
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A multi-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer shut down Interstate 57 on Tuesday, Illinois State Police said.
Police are trying to figure out why a semi crashed into several other vehicles.
ISP said the crash happened at about 7:55 a.m.
All northbound lanes of I-57 were blocked at 9 a.m. near Halsted Street, ISP said.
By 9:40 a.m. all lanes reopened, ISP said.

Police said no one was hurt, but the fire department said it did transport four people from the scene.
