
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A band of lake-effect band could drop several inches of snow in parts of Northwest Indiana Monday morning.
A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Porter County until 6 p.m. and until noon for LaPorte County.
The lake-effect band could move into Northwest Indiana from 7-8 a.m., ABC7 Meteorologist Jaisol Martinez said.
The band could potentially drop about two to four inches of snow in a short amount of time, with accumulation potentially occurring mainly from 7 a.m. to noon.
The rest of the area could be cloudy along the Illinois lakefront and a mix of clouds and sun for the rest of the area.
