Police sources said they were serving a search warrant for an incident that happened earlier this week.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- There is a hazmat investigation on the North Side Friday, Chicago fire officials said.
Chopper 7 was over a high-rise in the 1100-block of West Catalpa Avenue in Edgewater about noon. There was a visible emergency response.
Residents were told there is an emergency notice for the top three floors, eight, nine and 10, of all three Catalpa Towers on the block.
Chicago police told Catalpa Gardens condo leadership that they were entering a unit on the property. They asked for those floors to be evacuated by 10 a.m. Friday.
Police sources said they were serving a search warrant for an incident that happened earlier this week.
Until the area was deemed secure, residents were asked to leave their units for their safety, building management said.

Chicago police, a SWAT team, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives officials and CFD were on the scene four nearly four hours.
The scene shut down West Catalpa from Broadway to Winthrop Avenue.
ATF agents were seen carrying out large bags with different materials. It's not clear what those materials were, but it definitely sent a scare through the neighborhood.
"I mean, I just take it out my dog for a walk. And then I found out I had to get out and stay out," building resident Martin Jaeger said.
"I actually thought there was a fire because of all the trucks," neighborhood resident Heather said.
Officials said there's no threat to other residents or the property, and the action was ordered as protocol.
Neither police nor federal officials provided any additional information about what hazardous material led to the search.
A building manager said they will not be releasing a statement.
