CHICAGO (WLS) -- Mexican drug lord Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán's son will change his plea Monday in a drug trafficking case, according to court documents.
Joaquín Guzmán López originally pleaded not guilty.
He's due in court at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Chicago.
Federal prosecutors previously said they will not seek the death penalty for Guzmán López.
"El Chapo" is already serving a life sentence.
His other son, Ovidio Guzmán López, pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges in Chicago in July.
He also initially pleaded not guilty.
