Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker contributes $5M to super PAC supporting Lt. Gov. Stratton for US Senate

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Illinois Governor JB Pritzker contributed $5 million dollars to a super PAC supporting his Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton, according to Federal Election Commission records.

Stratton is running for the Illinois U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Dick Durbin.

Pritzker endorsed Stratton shortly after she got into the race.

She's one of ten Democrats running for Senate.
