Their opponent, however, is still to be determined. On Friday night, theOhio State Buckeyes and Texas Longhorns will square off in the College Football Playoff Semifinal at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, each hoping to punch their own ticket to the title game.

Despite decorated respective histories, the Buckeyes-Longhorns matchup isn't one that's been seen often in college football. Texas and Ohio State enter Friday's contest having met just three times on the gridiron previously, with the Longhorns boasting a 2-1 advantage all-time.
